First prove that the photos belong together
QC photos are useful only after they are connected to the same product code, color, size, and source as the album item. Once that identity check holds, compare construction, measurements, condition, and missing angles.
Here, “QC photos” means images presented as part of a visible inspection step. They may show the condition of the photographed item, but they cannot establish brand authenticity, seller identity, future durability, or the contents of a later shipment.
A comparison record you can reproduce
For each pair of images, record the original page URL, uploader or image provider, capture date if supplied, item code, selected option, angle and measurement method. Record “date not supplied” when necessary. Do not substitute the date you downloaded a photo for the date it was taken.

Album photos vs QC photos
Album photos
Often curated for presentation, with controlled angles or lighting. They show what the page claims to present, not necessarily the exact item connected to a later transaction.
QC photos
Usually show an inspection subject in a less controlled setting. They may reveal scale, shape, color variation, or flaws—but only for the item actually photographed.
How to check that photos belong to the same item
- Match the item or product code where available.
- Compare color and option labels, not just appearance.
- Check repeated construction details and placement.
- Confirm size markings or measurements.
- Keep the source or order reference connected to the images.
- Stop if the sequence depends on a guess.

Sizing and measurement evidence
A Yupoo size chart can describe a range, while product measurements show a particular garment or object. Check units, measurement method, tolerance wording, and whether the QC image actually shows the tape placement. A label alone does not establish fit.
Image quality and missing-angle limitations
Low resolution, heavy compression, color cast, glare, distance, and missing angles can make a comparison inconclusive. Do not “pass” a detail that cannot be seen. Record it as missing and ask the responsible third party for a clearer authorized image if appropriate.
Why QC photos do not authenticate a product or seller
Quality check photos document visible condition from limited angles. They do not prove brand authenticity, seller identity, long-term function, hidden materials, stock, delivery, or refund eligibility. A QC photo finder result can also belong to another item or source.
Checklist before approving any next step
- The album and QC references appear to identify the same item and option.
- The important category-specific angles are visible.
- Measurements use clear units and a readable method.
- Color and shape differences are considered alongside lighting.
- Missing details are recorded rather than assumed acceptable.
- The photos are not being treated as seller verification or authentication.
