Connect the size system to the exact pair
Before comparing shoes, identify the size system and connect it to a foot-length or insole reference where available. Keep the product code, profile, outsole, materials, box choice, and QC record attached to the same option.
Make the size system explicit
A bare “42” may refer to a regional system, a seller chart or a factory convention. Save the exact chart shown with the item and note whether the reference is foot length, insole length or recommended size. Those measurements describe different things.
Useful shoe-size record: product code + color + stated size system + selected size + chart date + foot-length/insole reference + any fit note. If one field is missing, mark it as missing rather than converting it yourself.
Compare the silhouette before small details
- Side profile: overall height, curvature and panel proportions.
- Top view: toe shape, opening and lace spacing.
- Heel view: alignment, counter shape and rear construction.
- Outsole: tread layout, edge shape and bonding.
- Inside: label, lining, insole and visible finishing.
This order helps identify a mismatched model before spending time on tiny decorative details.
Materials need more than a polished hero photo
Ask what material description applies to the selected option and look for close views under ordinary light. Surface texture, edge finishing, stitching and flex may be more informative than a highly edited front image. A material label remains a claim unless independently verified.
Connect QC photos to the same pair
A useful set shows both shoes and the same color-size option, not only a sample pair. Product code, box label or size label can help connect the images, but none proves authenticity. Check that the photo set is recent enough for your decision and use the QC guide to record missing angles.
Box or no box is a real shipping choice

Do not assume removing a box is always better. The responsible service should explain the packing method and provide the measured or estimated result.
For a mixed-size order, show the full split
Write the quantity for every color-size combination and confirm whether the MOQ applies per model, color, size or carton. A total such as “24 pairs” does not show whether the requested size run is allowed. Use the MOQ guide to build the option matrix.
Questions worth sending with the product code
- Which size system does this chart use?
- Does the selected size correspond to foot length or insole length?
- Is the quoted price for this color-size option and quantity?
- Are boxes included, optional or removed?
- Which item-specific QC views can be provided?
- What are the packed weight and carton dimensions for the stated order?
What still needs a direct answer
Photos and size labels cannot guarantee fit, material, stock, or box condition. If any of those points matters, ask about the exact pair and keep the answer beside its item code instead of applying it to every shoe on the page.
