Define the minimum before comparing price
There is no universal Yupoo minimum order or platform-wide MOQ. The relevant number may come from a seller, marketplace listing, supplier, carton rule, or written quote. Attach it to the exact product code, option mix, and price tier before comparing it.
MOQ can describe several different minimums

A sample, a small order and a bulk tier are different offers
A sample price may include extra handling and may not predict the later bulk price. A small mixed order can carry a different unit price or packing method. A bulk tier may require one option mix or full-carton quantities. Save each offer as a separate scenario rather than overwriting one number.
Write the option mix as a small matrix
For clothing and footwear, “20 pieces mixed” is not enough. A compact matrix makes the requested split visible and prevents the total from hiding a per-option minimum.

Compare the complete first-order total
Use a worksheet rather than comparing only the lowest unit price:

+ taxes, duties or other exclusions where applicable
Unknown fields should stay marked as unknown. Do not fill them with a number copied from another product or route.

Please confirm whether the MOQ applies per model, per color, per size, per carton, or to the combined order. Also confirm the unit price for this exact mix, packing quantity, and any sample, setup or option charges.
When a smaller first order may be useful
A smaller test can reduce exposure to unknown sizing, color consistency, packaging or communication quality, but it does not prove that a future batch will match. It also may have a higher unit or shipping cost. Record what the first order is intended to test so “small” has a purpose beyond the quantity itself.
Reasons to pause and clarify
- The stated MOQ changes without a change in item, option or price tier.
- The reply confirms a total quantity but not the allowed color-size mix.
- The unit price belongs to a larger tier than the quantity you requested.
- A carton quantity is given without carton dimensions or contents.
- A sample is described as identical to bulk production without supporting terms or evidence.
Carry the confirmed details forward
Keep the item identity attached with the product-code quote guide, then record likely packing and weight using the shipping-weight guide. If you need to ask the question, use the structure in the first-inquiry guide.
A quantity answer still needs context
An MOQ reply is useful only for the item, option, and date it names. It does not confirm production, stock, or a future price. Save the exact wording and ask again when the product mix or timing changes.
